Pyro-Pantherian[edit]

Physical Description[edit]

Those who think of other planes at all consider them remote, distant realms, but planar influence can be felt throughout the world. It sometimes manifests in beings who carry the power of the fire planes in their blood. Pyro-Pantherians are short, cat-like, humanoid, fire elementals that can burn for cenuries. They have a face and body similar to Tabaxi, but entirely made of flames of any color. They are a mostly low maintenance creatures, compared to other races, and do not suffer from disease or dehydration but they do need to eat. In addition to the normal food that humans eat, Pyro-Pantherians have a unusual ability to consume burnable objects to keep their body burning (example wood, paper, cloth, and even drink some alcohols).

History[edit]

Most Pyro-Pantherians are created by accident when a large number of felines die in a fire. When a large nubmer of felines all die at the same time, it is not garentied that all of their souls go to the afterlife. Some souls cling to the fires that took them and form a new body to inhabit out of the flames. This new body allows them to live a new life that were robbed of in their last. Legend says that the first Pyro-Pantherian was formed after a town full of cats died during a volcano eruption after being left behind when the town's people fled to safety.

Society[edit]

Pyro-Pantherians mostly live alone but arent against finding companians who have common interests. It can be a challenge to find friends for your kind because of your frightening appearance. A Pyro-Pantherian's personality can also vary wildly from chaotic, evil, good, or lawful. It's difficult to tell if someone is friendly, especially with a scary face, so it's not uncommon to get mislabeled by other races as an evil monster.
