  • After level 20 their power points don't increase but any effect that depend on manifester level and powers known do increase as normal.

Psionic dragons gain power points and powers as a Psion of their manifester level.

Psionic dragons are slender but strong, and bright-eyed, with spiked tails, ridged backs, and two sharp horns rising from the top of their heads. As juveniles, their scales are translucent shades of red, blue, green, orange, or any combination of these colors, but they brighten into brilliant crystalline hues as they age.

Combat[edit]

Psionics dragons would rather use their powers to fight at range. However if hostiles get in their face, they return the favor.

They prefer to disable their opponents first, and then attack with powers and claws if needed.

Psionic (Su): The caster lever represents the dragons effective level in the Psion class. If the dragon takes levels in the Psion class, then they stack together.

Breath Weapon (Su): Psionic dragons have one type of breath weapon, a line of concussive force. A Reflex save is needed to take halve damage and a second Reflex save is needed to avoid being blown back 20 feet plus 10 feet per round per age category of the dragon.

Long Tail: A Psionic dragons tail is particularly long and spiked. They make tail slap attacks as it they were one size category larger.

Water Breathing (Ex): A psionic dragon can breathe underwater indefinitely and can freely use its breath weapon, powers, and other abilities while submerged.

Deflecting Force (Su): A psionic dragon is protected by a shield of force that provides a deflection bonus to its AC. The deflection bonus is equal to the dragon’s Charisma bonus.

Alternate Form (Su): A very young or older psionic dragon can assume any humanoid or animal form of Medium size or smaller as a standard action three times per day. The dragon can remain in its animal or humanoid form until it chooses to assume a new one or return to its natural form.

Change Size: An Adult psionic dragon can change the size of there dragon form three steps, to a minimum of small and maximum of Gargantuan.

Spell-Like Abilities: At will—Far Hand, Telekinesis (juvenile or older); 3/day—Burst (adult or older), Evade Burst (adult or older), Empathy (old or older), Confusion (ancient or older); 1/day—True Telekinesis (great wyrm).

True Telekinesis: As Telekinetic Force, but weight limit of 500 pounds per level at long range.

Skills: Appraise, Search, Spot, and Swim are considered class skills for psionic dragons.
