PRODIGY[edit]
Some individuals are born with a natural ability to learn. For them any career or path is followed easily, quickly learning all the techniques needed to become truly amazing at whatever they choose.
Creating a Prodigy[edit]
This template is an inherited template that can be added to any creature with Intelligence score of 10 or more (referred to hereafter as the "base creature"). It uses all the base creature's statistics and special abilities except as noted here.
Size and Type[edit]
Same as base creature.
Hit Dice[edit]
Hit dice does not change.
Speed, Armor Class, Attack and special attacks[edit]
Same as base creature.
Special Qualities[edit]
A prodigy has all the special qualities of the base creature, plus:
Self Taught: At first level he can pick one skill, the chosen skill becomes a class skill for him, and he receives 4 additional skill points at first level.
Talented: The prodigy receives one additional [General] feat at first level.
In addition he gains one of the following abilities:
Arcane Prowess: If the prodigy is a arcane caster, he can cast an additional spell of each level per day.
Calm: He can always take 10 on any skill or concentration check.
Mastery: He gains half his level in competence bonus to a single skill chosen (This scales as he levels).
Weapon familiarity: He can choose any weapon proficiency feat as a bonus feat, including exotic.
Abilities[edit]
Increase from the base creature as follows: Choose from either, Int +2, Wis +2 or Str +2, Dex +2
Skills[edit]
Same as the base creature.
Environment[edit]
Same as the base creature.
Organization[edit]
Same as the base creature.
Challenge Rating[edit]
+1 CR
Treasure[edit]
Same as the base creature.
Alignment[edit]
Any.
Advancement[edit]
Same as the base creature, but now all classes are favored.
Level Adjustment[edit]
+1 LA
