Brutes and Maidens[edit]

Primelmen are porcine humanoids with strong sexual dimorphism. The race as a whole resembles porcine animals like pigs and boars. Males are hairy and sprout large tusks. They are commonly prickly due to the rough nature of their hairs. Females resemble domesticated pigs, with a smaller stature and delicate pink skin. They do not have normal fingers or toes, instead retaining the feet of a pig, with blunt claws. An important trait of the primelmen is the differentiation of their eyes, as it implies a certain type of power in their bloodline. There are red, purple and green-eyed varieties. Red-eyed tend to be males, and green-eyed tend to be females. Purple-eyed are rare and occur without sexual differentiation.
Despite how their name sounds, primelmen are far from primitive. Their clothing often reflects a rather moderate to a luxurious lifestyle. Male boars are often girded in sparse, but various armors of furs and metal pieces with motifs of powerful animals like bears, wolves, and, most importantly, the boar. Females often imprint special tattoos on themselves, along with makeup and clothing of fine make, like silks and gossamer veils. They will often adorn their claws like how humans do nails. Jewelry is a common sight on primelmen, and they prefer either gold or iron.
Where Pigs Come From[edit]
It is not entirely clear where primelmen hail from or who created them. They are commonly thought to have fey origin, perhaps evolved from magic porcine ancestors. Others believe they are perhaps descendants of Gorthok, boarish servant of Talos, god of storms[1]. Some yet surmise that they are humans who perhaps got infected with the blood of the nalfshnee. This is not entirely probable, as primelmen have only as much of a destructive tendency as a normal person. Primelmen believe their original hails from a three-eyed fey god with a pig head. Each eye reflects the red, green, and purple-eyed variety of their race.
Appearances Can Be Deceiving[edit]
Primelmen have cities that dot a variety of terrains in temperate climates, from coastal cities to inland areas. They have a surprisingly long history that lends itself to their rich citadels. Many people think of primelmen as brutes on a glance, but their cities are about as pretty as that of large human settlements. Primelmen value family very fiercely, and these families can often be very large due to primelmen litters ranging anywhere from four to as many as ten babies. They are normally docile and civil, though possibly a bit condescending, but a comment slandering their kin will bring out their full rage. Primelmen see themselves as exemplary humanoids, having an unexpectedly high degree of intelligence as well as strength to back it in a fight.
