Stub Logo.png This page is incomplete and/or lacking flavor. Reason: The GM is supposed to be constantly calculating this power level for all creatures? Why would any GM allow this into their campaign? How is score score even useful? Why would you want a +1 bonus to the number you see?

Arcane Insight: Power Gauge [General]

This feat grants you the ability to perceive and measure the power level of entities based on specific stats, including hit points. The power gauge improves as you gain levels.
Prerequisite: None, can be taken at 1st level
Benefit: You gain the ability to see a numerical power level display above the heads of entities. The power level is determined by the following formula:
Power Level = Character Level + ((Strength score + Dexterity score + Constitution + Intelligence score + Wisdom score + Charisma score) / 2) + (Maximum Hit Points / 5)

At 1st level, the power gauge grants a basic understanding of an entity's overall strength and vitality. As you gain character levels, your insight becomes more refined:

  • 5th Level: You gain a +1 bonus to the Power Level.
  • 10th Level: You can now discern whether an entity's power leans more towards physical strength, magical prowess, or a balanced combination.
  • 15th Level: You gain an additional +1 bonus to the Power Level.
  • 20th Level: You can accurately pinpoint an entity's strengths and weaknesses, gaining advantage on checks related to exploiting those weaknesses.
