Possessed Body[edit]

You are not the original owner of your body. You are a spirit that had recently died, that upon some miracle awoke to find themselves not in the afterlife, but the body of someone new. You can still remember the life you lived before, and who you are. However, you can't let anyone find out that you are not who you appear to be. If anyone were to find out that you were a spirit inhabiting another form, you might soon find yourself back in the afterlife.

Skill Proficiencies: Choose two, Deception, Insight, Intimidation

Tool Proficiencies: Any One

Languages: Choose one of the following: Abyssal, Infernal or Celestial.

Equipment: The body you woke up in was most certainly not your own, and it certainly had not been planning to die. You find on yourself a set of Tools, and one Gaming set, a set of Common Clothes, and a pouch containing 10 gp.

Death[edit]

How did you die? What happened to you that lead to your death?

d6 Death
1 I was killed in a fight.
2 I passed peacefully surrounded by my friends.
3 I saw things I shouldn't have.
4 I was a part of something that went wrong and was punished for it.
5 I died to save someone else.
6 I can't remember how I died.

Features: Will to Remain[edit]

You have exhibited remarkable tenacity in the face of death. This proves your will to go beyond, which many may admire who can see it. You are visibly different from the living due to an odd anomaly with your soul. Creatures that can see your soul (celestials and fiends) are more likely to be friendly to you or at least less hostile. They may choose not to attack you or they may choose to talk with you.
