Planimal Traits[edit]
Animals with MTG abilities.
Ability Score Increase. Your ability scores increase by an amount specified in you subrace.
Age. The age of the normal animal, but a little longer.
Alignment. Almost always neutral.
Size. Small
Speed. Your base walking speed is 30 feet.
Darkvision. Darkvision
Animalistic. You have proficiency in Athletics, Intimidation, and Animal Handling.
Speech of the Wild. You can speak and understand what other animals are saying via body language.
Languages. You can speak, read, and write Common and one other language of your choice.
Subrace. Choose a subrace
Deathrachnid[edit]
Ability Score Increase. Your Dexterity score increases by 2, and your Intelligence increases by 1.
Arachnophobia. You can double your Proficiency bonus on your Intimidation checks.
Deathtouch. Your unarmed strikes deal an additional 1d4 poison and 1d4 necrotic damage, instead of the normal damage for an unarmed strike.
Hexphibian[edit]
Ability Score Increase. Your Constitution score increases by 2, and your Wisdom increases by 1.
Firenewt. You can, as an action, cause all creatures within 5 feet of you to take 1 fire damage.
Hexproof. You have advantage on saving throws against spells and other magical effects.
Lifemal[edit]
Ability Score Increase. Your Strength score increases by 2, and your Charisma increases by 1.
Fur. You have resistance to cold damage.
Lifelink. You gain HP equal to half your level when you deal damage to a creature. This trait functions only once per turn.
Doubird[edit]
Ability Score Increase. Your Dexterity score increases by 1, your Constitution score increases by 1, and your Charisma increases by 1.
Wings. You have a base walking speed of 15 feet. You have a flying speed of 20 feet.
Double strike. You can make 1 melee weapon attack as a bonus action if you did a melee weapon attack as your action.
Indestreptile[edit]
Ability Score Increase. Your Constitution score increases by 5, and your Intelligence decreases by 3.
Scaly skin. You have a +1 bonus to your armor class.
Indestructible. When you take damage, you can use your reaction to roll a d8. Add your Constitution modifier to the number rolled, and reduce the damage by that total. After you use this trait, you can’t use it again until you finish a short or long rest.
