Planetouched[edit]

Template versions of Aasimar and Tieflings.

A Planetouched is a creature descended from outsiders, similar to Aasimar (From Good Outsiders) and Tieflings (From Evil Outsiders). Creatures with one of these templates has had their bloodline diluted by various generations, but still have traces of their outsider heritage that they can draw upon. Creating a Celestial Descendant[edit]

"Celestial descendant" is an inherited template that can be added to any living, corporeal humanoid or monstrous humanoid.(referred to hereafter as the base creature). A Celestial Descendant uses all the base creature’s statistics and special abilities except as noted here. Celestial Descendant cannot be applied to a creature with Infernal Descendant, Chao or Sainyhr template already applied.

Size and Type: Type is unchanged, but the Celestial Descendant gains the native subtype

Special Attacks: A Celestial Descendant retains all the base creature's special attacks and gains those described below.

Special Qualities: A Celestial Descendant retains all the base creature's special qualities and gains those described below.

  • Resistance to Acid 5, Cold 5 and Electricity 5
  • Darkvision: Celestial Descendants can see up to 60 feet in the dark.
  • Outsider Blood: For all effects related to race a Celestial Descendant is considered to be the same type and subtype as the base creature as well as an outsider with the native subtype.

Abilities: Wisdom +2, Charisma +2

Skills: Spot and Listen +2

Challenge Rating: +1

Favored Class: Add Paladin to the Base Creature's favored classes

Level Adjustment: +1

Creating an Infernal Descendant[edit]

"Infernal Descendant" is an inherited template that can be added to any living, corporeal humanoid or monstrous humanoid (referred to hereafter as the base creature). An Infernal Descendant uses all the base creature’s statistics and special abilities except as noted here. Infernal Descendant cannot be applied to a creature with the Celestial Descendant, Chao or Sainyhr template already applied.

Size and Type: The Infernal Descendant's type remains the same, but gains the Native subtype

Special Attacks: An Infernal Descendant retains all the base creature's special attacks and gains those described below.

Special Qualities: An Infernal Descendant retains all the base creature's special qualities and gains those described below.

  • Resistance to Fire 5, Cold 5 and Electricity 5
  • Darkvision: Infernal Descendants can see up to 60 feet in the dark.
  • Outsider Blood: For all effects related to race an Infernal Descendant is considered to be the same type and subtype as the base creature as well as an outsider with the native subtype.

Abilities: Dexterity +2, Intelligence +2

Skills: Bluff and Hide +2

Challenge Rating: +1

Favored Class: Add Rogue to the Base Creature's favored classes

Level Adjustment: +1
