Personality

Pictsies enjoy drinking, fighting and stealing. They are very strong and are willing to fight nearly anyone. They hate royalty and have a intense distrust for authority figures in general. They are generally afraid of the law and often believe that any writing is magical. If their names are written down they worry that it might lead to their incarceration, so they dislike people knowing their names.

Physical Description

Pictsies are usually 6 inches tall, and are wiry. They all have red hair and blue skin. They are very strong for their size, and also amazingly fast. Pictsie adventurers are all male as the female pictsies (who are known as the kelda) are very rare, and they lead the clans of pictsies.

Relations

Pictsies dislike other Fey and Elves. They feel justified in stealing from anyone except for the poor. They don't mind humans, or the other humanoid races in general, but only really respect female magic users.

Pictsies are usually Chaotic Neutral

Lands

Pictsies live in the low hills, and in the mountains.

Religion

Pictsies do not have any particular deity. They believe that they are dead and are in their own heaven. They believe that they were good in a previous life and so they were sent to the world as a reward. If they end this life, they believe that they have been reborn into the real world again.

Names

Pictsies have human names, usually abbreviated and with some sort of modifier (Rob Anybody, Daft Wullie, Big Aggie, No'-as-big-as-Medium-Sized-Jock-but-bigger-than-Wee-Jock Jock).

Racial Traits

• +4 Strength, +2 Constitution, −4 Intelligence, −4 Wisdom, −2 Charisma: Pictsies are strong and hearty, however they are not too intelligent.
• Fey
• Tiny: +2 size bonus to AC, −8 size penalty to grapple, +2 size bonus to hit. A Pictsie must enter the square of an opponent to attack them, and suffer an attack of opportunity when doing so.
• Pictsie base land speed is 30 feet
• Pictsies have a carrying capacity as if they were a normal creature.
• Illiterate: Pictsie are scared of writing. Pictsies must purchase literacy like a Barbarian (Pictsie wizards must do so - a Pictsie Wizard who cannot read cannot read his own spell book). Additionally, Pictsies receive a -4 racial penalty on all Decipher Script and Forgery checks even if they are literate.
• Pictsies get a +2 racial bonus on move silently and sleight of hand.
• Pictsies receive Run as a bonus feat.
• Automatic Languages: Common and Pictsie. Bonus Languages: Elven, Gnome, Halfling.
• Favored Class: Barbarian
