Phosoir[edit]

===Physical Description=== Phosoir are haunting spirits that manifest as transparent blue humanoids from the waist up. Instead of legs, they emit a bluish fog cloud, creating the illusion of floating ghosts. Their ethereal forms flicker and waver, giving them an otherworldly and eerie presence. Phosoir are ancient spirits with a deep connection to the ethereal realms, and they possess powerful magic that allows them to curse and manipulate souls.

History[edit]

People theorize that they came from the ethereal plain and cursed people to become ghosts after death.

===Society=== As a race, they seem to look out for each other and perform rituals without saying anything about their beliefs or history to anyone outside the race. Although many theorize that the rituals probably are what keep them alive.

Phosoir Names[edit]

The Phosoir are extremely numerous and none of them appear to share any names with one another.

Male: Aeklem, Derall, Fipul, Shail, Sur, Tupuil, Vurr.

Female: Alinek, Amarin, Brezin, Chetile, Juser, Ole, Wold.

Phosoir Traits[edit]

Ability Score Increase. Your Wisdom score increases by 3 and your Intelligence score increases by 2. You can't increase an ability score above 20 using this feature.
Age. Phosoir never age, and never mature.
Alignment. Neutural
Size. Medium
Speed. Your base speed is 40 feet.
Ghostly vision. The Phosoir can see 60 feet into the Ethereal Plane when it is on the Material Plane and vice versa. You can see in dim light within 120 feet of you as if it were bright light, and in darkness as if it were dim light. You can't discern color in darkness, only shades of gray.
Ethereal Form. The Phosoir is incorporeal and can move through other creatures and objects as if they were difficult terrain. It takes 5 (1d10) force damage if it ends its turn inside an object. You have no solid form, allowing immunity to slashing, piercing, and bludgeoning damage from nonmagical attacks.
Ghostly Presence. Any creature that starts its turn within 10 feet of the Phosoir must succeed on a DC 15 Wisdom saving throw or be frightened for 1 minute. The frightened creature can repeat the saving throw at the end of each of its turns, ending the effect on itself on a success. If a creature's saving throw is successful or the effect ends for it, the creature is immune to the Phosoir's Ghostly Presence for the next 24 hours.
Ethereal Step. The Phosoir magically enters the Ethereal Plane, shifting from the Material Plane. While in the Ethereal Plane, it can't affect or be affected by anything on the Material Plane.
Languages. You can speak, read, and write Common and one other language of your choice.
