Phoenix elves average 6 feet tall and typically weigh about 160 pounds. They live on fruits and grains, though they occasionally hunt for fresh meat. Phoenix elves prefer practical cloths that are used to keep them comfortable in their desert homes. They prefer warm colors, brown or off white, and black.

Phoenix elves speak Elven, and most also know Common, Draconic, or Ignan.

Most phoenix elves encountered outside their homes are warriors; the information presented here is for one of 1st level.

Combat[edit]

Phoenix elves are cautious warriors and take time to analyze their opponents and the location of the fight if at all possible, maximizing their advantage by using ambushes, snipers, and camouflage. They prefer to fire from cover and retreat before they are found, repeating this maneuver until all of their enemies are dead. They are also fond of quich devistating cavalry charges. If all their opponenents are not killed in the first charge they retreat and use sniper tactics to finnish off the rest.

They prefer composite longbows, composite shortbows, scimitars, and falchions. In melee, phoenix elves are graceful and deadly, using complex maneuvers that are beautiful to observe. Their sorcerers often use sleep spells during combat because these won’t affect other elves as well as their signature distructive fire spells. Phoenix elves use their spell-like abilites to both fight their enimies and heal their allies

Wrath of the Phoenix (Sp): Flames as bright as a torch appear in your open hand. The flames harm neither you nor your equipment. In addition to providing illumination, the flames can be hurled or used to touch enemies. You can strike an opponent with a melee touch attack, dealing 3d6 fire damage. Alternatively, you can hurl the flames up to 120 feet as a thrown weapon. When doing so, you attack with a ranged touch attack (with no range penalty) and deal the same damage as with the melee attack. No sooner do you hurl the flames than a new set appears in your hand.

Tears of the Phoenix (Sp): You channel positive energy into a creature to wipe away injury and afflictions. It immediately ends any and all of the following adverse conditions affecting the target: ability damage, blinded, confused, dazed, dazzled, deafened, diseased, exhausted, fatigued, feebleminded, insanity, nauseated, sickened, stunned, and poisoned. It also cures 10 hit points of damage.

Spell-like Abilities: 1/week - True Resurrection, Flame Strike. Caster level equals phoenix elf's class levels.
