Combat:[edit]
Against ethereal opponents, phantom tigers attack as they did on life, but against creatures on the Material plane they only pass through them using their incorporeal touch.
Corrupting Touch (Su): A phantom tiger that hits a living target with its corrupting touch attack deals 1d4 points of damage. Against ethereal opponents, it adds its Strength modifier to attack and damage rolls. Against material opponents, it adds its Dexterity modifier to attack rolls only.
Improved Grab (Ex): To use this ability, a phantom tiger must hit with a claw or bite attack. It can then attempt to start a grapple as a free action without provoking an attack of opportunity. If it wins the grapple check, it establishes a hold and can rake.
Manifestation (Su): As an ethereal creature, a phantom tiger cannot affect or be affected by anything in the material world. When it manifests, the phantom tiger becomes visible but remains incorporeal. A manifested phantom tiger remains on the Ethereal Plane but can be attacked by opponents on both the Material and Ethereal planes.
Pounce (Ex): If a phantom tiger charges a foe, it can make a full attack, including two rake attacks.
Rake (Ex): Attack bonus +9 melee, damage 1d8+3.
Skills: Phantom tigers have a +4 racial bonus on Balance and Move Silently checks, a +12 on Hide checks, and a +8 on Listen and Spot checks. *In areas of tall grass or heavy undergrowth, the Hide bonus improves to +16.
Phantom Nishoba:[edit]
Constitution Drain (Su): On a successful attack a phantom nishoba deals 2d6 points of temporary Constitution damage; it gains temporary hit points equal to the Constitution damage inflicted.
Rake (Ex): Attack bonus +18 melee, damage 2d4+4.
