Phantasmal Bracer of the Exalted Blade (3.5e Equipment)

An immaterial bracer capable of being clasped over your own without obvious encumbrance. It glows from within, bathing your arm in a pale white light like the cold radiance of a snowfield. But there is another light, one far more ominous that pulses beneath: the promise of incredible power.

Phantasmal Bracer of the Exalted Blade

While wearing the Bracer, you can call upon its might once per day, yet it requires two days to recharge. The effect lasts for one round. When you use its abilities, the effect is immediate, obvious, and deadly: long crescent slashes the color of polished silver gleam behind your blow, then surge outward, allowing your melee weapon impossible reach. Each attack creates 1d6+strength modifier slashes, which lance through the air, walls, and all barriers that dare bar their way until they at last burn to nothing.

• Phantasmal blades ignore armor, dealing 1/4 of your ordinary damage, but permitting you to do so from much farther away.

• The phantasmal blades' range is 10+dexterity modifier in squares.

Acquisition

The Phantasmal Bracer cannot be made, and is typically found instead on the body of a particularly powerful Lich. Its market value is 1,403,120 gold.
