Path of the Pain Vortex (5e Subclass)
From D&D Wiki
Path of the Pain Vortex[edit]
Barbarians who follow the path of the pain vortex can attract pain and suffering during their rage. They are able to absorb wounds destined to their allies, and redirect wounds suffered towards their enemies.
- Thick Scarring
At 3rd level, taking so much damage throughout his life has left some pretty gnarly scars on your body. You can add twice your Constitution modifier, instead of adding your Dexterity, to your unarmored AC.
- Share the Pain
Starting at 3rd level, while raging, whenever a creature within 10 feet takes damage, you can choose to give that ally resistance to that damage as a reaction.
When you do so, you take the same amount of damage your ally has taken. Your damage resistances apply as normal when you take this damage. If the attacker is within this feature range, it must succeed on a Constitution saving throw (DC 8 + your proficiency bonus + your Constitution modifier) or take half that damage.
- Hearty Body
At 6th level, your Constitution current and maximum increases by 2.
- Purify the Pain
At 10th Level, when you take damage while raging, you can choose to halve that damage, without taking an action. Once you use this ability, you can't do it again until the start of your next turn.
- Pain Fueled Strike
At 14th level, you can use your bonus action to channel all your pain trough your weapon. Your next melee weapon attack causes additional damage equal to the number of hit points you have lost since your last turn.
On a miss, the pain energy is wasted.
