Path of the Infinitesimal[edit]

Those who walk this path bear no overwhelming physical abilities. Instead, their Kekkei Genkai has mutated their brain, massively increasing their chakra control. While this path does not grant dojutsu, a skilled user's eyes bear a white glow, or more accurately the glow from their brain's heightened activity shines through their eyes.

Chakra Control[edit]

At 3rd level, you can control your chakra to use it more efficiently. As a bonus action, you can reduce the chakra cost of the next jutsu you cast before the end of the turn by an amount equal to 1/4 your shinobi level (rounded down, minimum 1). The minimum chakra you can expend on a jutsu using this is 1. You may use this a number of times equal to your Intelligence modifier, regaining all uses at the end of a short rest.

Unnatural Genius[edit]

At 7th level, your chakra control surpasses natural convention. When you use Chakra Control, you may expend up to 4 uses, reducing the chakra cost of the next jutsu you cast by 1/4 your shinobi level (rounded down, minimum 1) each time. The minimum chakra you can expend on a jutsu using this is 1. Additionally, you may use Chakra Control an additional number of times equal to your Wisdom modifier, regaining all additional uses at the end of a long rest.

Radiant Absorption[edit]

At 10th level, as a reaction when you are targeted by a jutsu, you may transform some of the excess chakra radiated by the jutsu into your own chakra. Make an Arcana check against the caster's jutsu DC. On a success, you regain 1 use of Chakra Control or Unnatural Genius, and if the jutsu had a cost below 1/4 your shinobi level (rounded down, minimum 1) the jutsu fails.

Enlightened State[edit]

At 15th level, your eyes' maximum hit points increase by your Intelligence modifier. As an action, you may overclock your brain, causing your eyes to glow white while you enter a higher processing state in which you gain the following benefits:

  • When you use Chakra Control, the jutsu's cost is reduced by your Intelligence or Wisdom modifier. This does not apply to additional uses spent using Unnatural Genius.
  • When you use Radiant Absorption, if the jutsu had a cost below 1/4 your shinobi level (rounded down, minimum 1) + your Intelligence or Wisdom modifier, the jutsu fails.
  • If a jutsu could be cast as a bonus action and would target another creature, you may cast it as an opportunity attack.
  • You can use Intelligence instead of Strength or Dexterity for the attack and damage rolls of your unarmed strikes and any weapons that you are proficient with which don't have the heavy property.
  • At the end of each of your turns, your eyes lose 1d6 hit points.
  • As a reaction to when you cast any jutsu, you may cause your eyes take any amount of damage and reduce the cost of the jutsu by the damage you took.

Fragmented Enlightenment[edit]

At 15th level, your eyes' maximum hit points are doubled. Additionally, you may choose one benefit from Enlightened State. At the end of each of your turns, you may gain the chosen benefit until the end of your next turn, but your eyes lose 1d4 hit points at the end of your next turn as well.

True Enlightened State[edit]

At 20th level, your eyes' maximum hit points are doubled. While Enlighened State is active, the glow of your higher processing state expands into a halo-like aura emanating around your entire head, and you gain the following benefits:

  • When you would spend chakra, you may instead spend twice as many of your eyes' hit points.
  • Choose a number of jutsu equal to your Intelligence and Wisdom modifiers from any nature. These jutsu may be cast while Enlightened State is active.
  • You may double the cost of a jutsu that can be cast as an action to cast it as a bonus action.
  • When you cast a jutsu, you may spend up to 4 uses of Chakra Control, increasing the amount of affinity you have in it by 1 for each use spent.
