Path of the Hog Rider[edit]

Barbarian Path

Having tamed the fierce leaping hog, the Hog Rider punishes those who hide behind their puny walls! Fueled by Dark Elixir, these warriors have never known defeat.

Destructive Rage

When you choose this path at 3rd level, you are particularly brutal against constructions. When you are raging, you cause double damage against buildings and structures.

Summon Hog

Starting at 3rd level, when you enter a range, you conjure a Hog that carry you in battle. The hog is conjure in an unoccupied space within 5 feet of you, or on your own space (allowing you to automatically mount it). The hog uses the statistics of a boar. Add your proficiency bonus to the hog's AC, attack rolls, and damage rolls, as well as to any saving throws and skills it is proficient in. Its hit point maximum equals its normal maximum or four times your barbarian level, whichever is higher. Like any creature, the hog can spend Hit Dice during a short rest.

The hog obeys your commands as best as it can. It takes its turn on your initiative. On your turn, you can verbally command the hog where to move (no action required by you). As part of the Bonus Action used to rage, and as a Bonus Action every turn thereafter, you can verbally command it to take the Attack, Dash, Disengage, or Help action. If you don’t issue a command, the hog takes the Dodge action. The hog never requires your command to use its reaction, such as when making an opportunity attack.

You can mount the Hog if you are Medium or smaller, and while mounting the Hog, the hog also benefits from the bonuses granted by your Rage.

High Jump

At 6th level, your hog can perform high jumps. The hog uses your Strength score to calculate its jumping distance and height, and your proficiency in Strength (Athletics) - if you have it - to make checks with that skill. In addition, the hog's jumping distance and height is doubled.

Conjuration Improvement

At 10th level, you can conjure your Hog without requiring you to rage, using an Action. In addition, if you are incapacitated or absent, the beast acts on its own, focusing on protecting you and itself. In addition, the Relentless trait your hog have no longer have the limitation of 7 hit points or less to be triggered.

Once you conjure the Hog, you can't do it again until you finish a short or a long rest.

Brutal Charge

At 14th level, your boar's charge cause additional 3d6 damage (instead of 1d6), and the save DC to avoid being knocked prone equals 8 + your proficiency bonus + your Constitution modifier.
