Path of the Giant[edit]

Barbarian Subclass

Those who follow the path of the giant can trace their lineage back to giants in one form or another, and manifest the physique and sheer physical might of a giant.

Giant Ancestry

When you choose this path at 3rd level your giant ancestry begins to manifest. While raging your size increases by one size category, or to large, whichever is greater, and when you make a melee attack, your reach for it is increased by an additional 5 feet (minimum of 10 feet). While large, your weapon attacks using strength deal an additional 1d4 damage. Also, regardless of size, you can wield oversized weapons. Finally, you learn to speak, read, and write giant, if you already knew that language then you gain an extra language of your choice.

Giants Fortitude

At 6th level your giant ancestry allows you to bolster yourself with otherworldly indomitability. Once per rage you can use your bonus action to gain temporary hit-points equal to your barbarian level + your Constitution modifier. In addition, you can grapple or shove creatures up to two sizes larger than you, and when grappling or shoving a creature up to one size larger than you, that creature has disadvantage on ability checks to avoid, maintain, or escape a grapple or shove.

Shake the earth

At 10th level while you are raging your strikes are powerful enough to shake the earth. As an action you can choose to strike the ground beneath you, each creature, object, and structure within 10ft of you (other than you) must make a dexterity saving throw (DC = 8 + your proficiency bonus + your Strength modifier) or take force damage equal to 1d10 + your Strength modifier + your rage damage bonus and be knocked prone. A target that succeeds takes half damage and is not knocked prone. You can use this feature a number of times equal to your constitution modifier (a minimum of once). You regain all expended uses of this feature when you finish a long rest. Using this ability counts as attacking a hostile creature for the purposes of maintaining your rage.

True Behemoth

At 14th level you completely embody a giants power. Your size becomes large if you weren't large already. Befitting your new size, your weapon attacks using strength deal an additional 1d6 damage, instead of a 1d4, and when you make a melee attack, your reach for it is increased by 5 feet. Also, your Shake the Earth feature now has a radius of 20ft and the damage is increased to 2d10 + your Strength modifier + twice your rage damage bonus. In addition, while raging, you have advantage on Constitution ability checks and saving throws, and you can add your rage damage bonus to your Strength and Constitution ability checks and saving throws.
