The Cavalry is always here to lend a helping hand rushing into battle head first. They are always found on horses as without them they are kind of hopeless, these, unlike other riders, prefer to take even the stronger opponents head first running right at them at full speed. These ruthless fighters fight by the idea first in last out always making it out of near death situations. Using their horses as a running start they can build up a lot of potential damage.

- Born to Ride
Starting at 3rd level, your mastery as a rider becomes apparent. You have advantage on saving throws made to avoid falling off your mount. If you fall off your mount and descend no more than 10 feet, you can land on your feet if you’re not incapacitated.
Finally, mounting or dismounting a creature costs you only 5 feet of movement, rather than half your speed.
- Ride like the Wind
At the 3rd level, you and your mount have full trust in each other. While raging, whenever you are on top of a controlled mount, you are able to increase your horse's movement by 5 feet. This increases to 10 feet at 10th level, 25 feet at 14th level.
In addition, during your rage, your movement and the movement of your controlled mount doesn't provoke opportunity attacks.
- Rider's Best Friend
Also at 6th level, both you and your mount are as one. You can mount and dismount your horse without spending any movement. In addition, if you spend a long rest with your mount, you can speak with it as if you had cast speak with animals.
Finally, while on top of your controlled mount, the mount gain the benefits of rage and fast movement while you are raging.
- Ramming Charge
At 10th level, once per turn while raging, your momentum increases the damage of your attacks. The damage dealt by your attack increases by 1d4 for each 10 feet you move in a straight line. The damage increases accordingly to the table below.
You can choose to roll the additional damage die one additional time when you are on top of a controlled mount. Also, you can forgo one die to, instead, shove the target, adding the charge die to the result of your shove attempt
Distance | Charge Die |
---|---|
10 feet | 1d4 |
20 feet | 1d6 |

40 feet | 1d10 |
50 + feet | 1d12 |
- Loyal Steed
Also at 14th level, your mount is ready to sacrifice its life for your own. When you take damage from an attack, you can use a reaction to halve that damage, causing your mount to take the same amount of damage you just took.
In addition, when you roll initiative on top of your controlled mount, the mount gain 5 temporary hit points for each Barbarian level you have. The mount loses these temporary hit points when you are no longer controlling it.
