Orkin Man (3.5e Alternate Class Feature)
From D&D Wiki
You are an expert at slaying vermin.
Class: Ranger
Level: 1st
Replaces: If you select this class feature, you do not gain the standard Favored Enemy, or Combat Style of the usual Ranger.
Benefit:
Favored Enemy (Vermin): At 1st level, an Orkin Man is the bane of all Vermin. The Orkin Man gains a +2 bonus on Bluff, Listen, Sense Motive, Spot, and Survival checks when using these skills against creatures of this type. Likewise, he gets a +2 bonus on weapon damage rolls against such creatures.
At 5th level and every five levels thereafter (10th, 15th, and 20th level), the bonus against Vermin increases by 2.
Sneak Attack (Vermin): An Orkin Man of third level or higher gains the Sneak Attack ability, useable only against Vermin. Treat the Sneak Attack damage as a rogue's sneak attack of appropriate level.
Poison Use (Inhaled Poisons): Starting at 8th level, an Orkin Man is so trained in the use of Inhaled Poisons (after all, they are great for dealing with hives of Vermin) that he never risks poisoning himself when using them.
