Organizations (The Legend of Zelda Supplement)
Sheikah[edit]
The Sheikah are a group of highly trained, and highly secret branch of royal guard. Although they were originally created to serve the kings of Hyrule during the Hylian Civil War, during the golden age they have found themselves to be in low demand in the service of Hyrule. Even though they still serve the king, they will typically take up any job.
Joining Because of their services being in such short supply, many Sheikah members quit and went into hiding so that they would not be targets of their own clan for being deserters. Because of this, the Sheikah are always looking for new members. In order to become a Shiekah, one must first find another Shiekah and have a non violent conversation with that member. During the conversation, typically towards the end, the Sheikah will tell you that inside Hyrule castle, there is a secret passage in the upper left tower leading to the Shiekah headquarters. If the character can make it past all the guards without killing any of them or sounding the alarm, and get to the secret passage they will be initiated into the Shiekah.
Benefits
Being a Shiekah grants you a pardon from the king if placed in jail, with certain exceptions. If you steal from the king's treasury, if you kill or attack anyone in the royal family, or if you are convicted of treason, you will not be pardoned.
If you have a reputation of 7 or more within the Sheikah, you can also be broken out of enemy prisons by other members of the Sheikah.
Duties Being a part of the Sheikah means that you are obligated to help with prison breaks and check with the the Shogun of the Sheikah for new missions every week when not already on a mission.
