Orcus Tiefling (5e Subrace)

Tiefling Subrace[edit]
The demon lord of undead, Orcus, desires to bring darkness and desolation to the world, and bring extermination to all life, leaving only undead under his control. Orcus was found most often as patron to necromancers and undead beings. Tieflings tied to Orcus carry some of his deathly senses and power, and often appear as if they themselves are rotting.
Ability Score Increase. Your Constitution score increases by 1.
Abyssal Resistance. You gain resistance to necrotic damage. (This trait replaces Hellish Resistance.)
Deathly Awareness. You can sense the presence and direction of any undead or the body of a creature that has died within the past 24 hours within 30 feet of you. This sense is blocked by full cover.
Legacy of Thanatos. You know the chill touch cantrip. Once you reach 3rd level, you can cast the inflict wounds spell once. Once you reach 5th level, you can cast the hold person spell once. You must finish a long rest to cast one of these spells again with this trait. Intelligence, Wisdom, or Charisma is your spellcasting ability for these spells when you cast them with this trait (choose when you select this race).
