Oomukade, from the Monster Girl Encyclopedia

Oomukade[edit]

Description[edit]

Oomukade are humanoids with the lower body of a centipede. Although the upper body is generally alluring, it gives off a darker impression. They often have antennae on their head, but the rest of their upper body is deceptively normal. They have potent poison within their bodies that they use to hunt. Poison can be injected using the maxillipeds at the tip of their tail. Alternatively, they also possess a retractable venomous stinger under their tongue.

Society[edit]

They appear to have a rather melancholy and depressive disposition. At the same time, they possess a very ferocious and territorial nature, and are generally more aggressive as they hunt. They tend to prefer darker, wet areas, and thus normally inhabit shadowy woods deep within the mountains, caves, etc.

Oomukade Traits[edit]

Humanoid centipedes.

Age. Oomukade mature rather quickly, reaching adulthood by around the age of 10, but can live for longer than a century.
Alignment. Oomukade generally keep to themselves, thus mainly leaning towards a neutral alignment.
Size. Oomukade stand 5 to 6 feet when upright. However, the lower half can vary in length, reaching as far as 12 feet. Your size is Medium.
Speed. Your base walking speed is 35 feet.
Darkvision. You can see in dim light within 60 feet of you as if it were bright light, and in darkness as if it were dim light. You can't discern color in darkness, only shades of gray.
Centipede Half. Your long lower body gives you 5 feet more reach when making a melee attack. However, you are unable to make use of mounts.
Exoskeleton. When you are not wearing armor, your AC is 13 + your Dexterity modifier. You can use your natural armor to determine your AC if the armor you wear would leave you with a lower AC. The benefits of a shield still apply as normal.
Centipede Legs. You have a climbing speed equal to your walking speed. In addition, at 3rd level, you can move up, down, and across vertical surfaces and upside down along ceilings, while leaving your hands free.
Poison Resistance. You are resistant to poison damage, and have advantage on saving throws against being poisoned.
Centipede Sting. Your maxillipeds at the end of your tail and the hidden stinger under your tongue are natural weapons, which you can use to make unarmed strikes using Strength or Dexterity (your choice). The attack deals 1d6 piercing damage + your Strength or Dexterity modifier. Additionally, you can choose to have your target make a Constitution saving throw or become poisoned. The DC is equal to 8 + your Constitution modifier + your proficiency bonus.

You can poison targets a number of times equal to your proficiency bonus, and you regain all expended uses after completing a long rest.
Languages. You can speak, read, and write Common and one other language of your choice.
