For the duration of the spell, the subject becomes fully proficient (i.e., able to understand, speak, read and write) in any language there is. For the purpose of this spell, codes and other forms of encryption are considered languages.
The proficiency granted by this spell only applies to languages the subject is aware of; that is, they cannot speak or write in a language they don't know exists. Only once they are exposed to a language do they become proficient in it.
Omnilingualism can be made permanent with a permanency spell.
Divine Focus: If casted by Cleric, its divine symbol is needed.
