Oldru Elite (4e Creature)

From D&D Wiki

Jump to: navigation, search

The Oldru Elite are members of the Oldru Tribe, a group of wildmen that inhabit the forests of Nari, a heavily forested area several leagues south of Fallcrest. They wear light armor, often animal skins, that enable them to move with ease throughout their home in the forests. They are most commonly armed with spears, and are trained from a young age to serve in the militia.

Lore[edit]

DC 15: The Oldru Elite are ranked higher than the Oldru Warriors, and are more skilled in combat. They usually also are better armed than their lesser counterparts, wielding greatspears rather than longspears.

DC 20: The Oldru Elite are more dangerous than Oldru Warriors, and they are usually found together. Although Oldru Warriors are the standard soldiers of the Oldru Tribe, the Oldru Elite will often accompany them. They fight differently, and with more skill. Oldru Elite can easily identify which foe will be the easiest to pick off, as well as the toughest foe to take down.

DC 25: The Oldru Elite often let the lower ranked soldiers start the initial fight, and they will join in later, picking off foes of their choice. They will work together to unarm and disable a target, and will retreat when outmatched. It is best to take out the Oldru Elite first, as they are far more dangerous than other members of their tribe.

Encounters[edit]

The Oldru Elite will wait for Oldru Warriors to first engage and surround enemies, allowing them to gain an advantage from flanking. The Oldru Elder will take cover behind the front line fighters and heal any other Oldru members.

From Far Cry Primal

They are very skilled in combat. First they will attack using their greatspear, testing the strength of their foe. They will then continue to jab using their greatspear and use their action point to knock their target prone. If a target proves too powerful they will either retreat, switch targets, or team up on a single foe.
