Author's Note: For those that care to see where I found the inspiration for the race, I was inspired by Ollie's Skole[1], which Ollie has not updated in quite some time. Not that I harbor ill will towards him, but I really, really liked the concept and tweaked a bit using a little of Frostburn and some of what little I know of Norse culture, especially before the onset of Christianity. And Ollie if you do read this, please get in touch with me as I would love to commission you and work out ways of furthering your races and world in any way shape or form. I made this to improve upon your baseline for the betterment of all.

More information...

A race of lupine humanoids, their demeanor to us was cold until we proved ourselves no threat to them. Learning of our intended trip into the Frostfell, a number of them offered their services as guides. Hiring an Ogre Wolf proved ultimately to be expensive but necessary as by the time we were ready to journey home, our guides had ensured we all were safe and their knowledge added volumes to our own.

Ogre Wolves are the designation of the humans who first encountered them. Their word for themselves is Skole. They are generally a nomadic people with allies among those native to cold environments.

Combat[edit]

Skole often favor hit and run tactics as well as ambushing their enemies. They are hunters and use that experience to their advantage.
