Medium fiend, lawful evil Armor Class 15 (natural armour)
Skills Athletics +8, Perception +10, Survival +6 Brave. The hound has advantage on saving throws against being frightened. Brute. A melee weapon deals one extra die of its damage when the hound hits with it (included in the attack). Keen Senses. The hound has advantage on Wisdom (Perception) checks that rely on sight, hearing, or smell. Pack Tactics. The hound has advantage on an attack roll against a creature if at least one of the hound's allies is within 5 feet of the creature and the ally isn't incapacitated. ACTIONSMultiattack. The hound can use its Fire Breath. It then makes a bite attack. Bite. Melee Weapon Attack: +8 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 13 (2d8 + 4) piercing damage plus 7 (2d6) fire damage. Fire Breath (Recharge 5-6). The hound exhales fire in a 15-foot cone. Each creature in that area must make a DC 15 Dexterity saving throw, taking 21 (6d6) fire damage on a failed save, or half as much damage on a successful one. REACTIONSParry. The hound adds 4 to its AC against one melee attack that would hit it. To do so, the hound must see the attacker and be wielding a melee weapon. |
A hell hound with the Master template applied to it. Commonly found leading packs of lesser hell hounds, oblivion hounds are vicious and savage creatures that constantly hunger for flesh. Found in service to the mightiest devils and fire giants, an oblivion hound is ruthless and cunning, destroying weak foes with their vicious fangs and flaming breath. |
