Oath of Soup[edit]

Paladin Join the sippers of soup and gain cosmic power.

Tenets of Soup[edit]

A paladin who takes this oath has the tenets of Soup emblazoned on their armor no matter what they wear,

Soup is the world. Purge those who do not believe that soup and soup-like foodstuffs are good. People are allowed to dislike soup but when they say that soup is as useless as water, Smite them.

Live to create The Soup of Life. Your survival matters more than the survival of others

Ever Ready for Soup. Always have soup on you, and if your soup is stolen then the thief must be purged. Additionally, be ready to make soup always. Be ready to spread the good soup with those worthy to receive it.

Soup Above All. Those who sip soup are the soup sippers. Once you are a soup sipper you cannot go back

Sipper of Soup[edit]

At 3rd level, you gain proficiency in chef's utensils and may use chef's utensils as your divine focus. Additionally, you learn the cantrip prestidigitation. At 5th level you gain the ability to cast fog cloud as a bonus action and you may see through the fog. This may be done as many times as your proficiency bonus.

Channel Divinity[edit]

When you take this Oath at 3rd level, you gain the following two Channel Divinity options.

Soup Worth Sipping You can use your channel divinity to make soup with divine inspiration. When you use this you have advantage to making potions and soup. Additionally, if you roll a natural 20 while this advantage is in effect the soup instead purges the consumer of all negative effects and restores an amount of hit points equal to their hitpoint maximum, with any healing beyond their maximum becoming temporary hit points

Strength of Soup You can use your Channel Divinity to strike with supernatural accuracy and devastating effect. When you make an attack roll, you can use your Channel Divinity to gain a +10 bonus to the roll and to the damage if the attack connects. You make this choice after you see the roll, but before the DM says whether the attack hits or misses.

Soup for the Soul[edit]

Starting at 7th level you gain an aura with a 15ft radius of soupy goodness. When a friendly creature enters or starts their turn in this aura they heal 1d6 plus your charisma modifier once per turn. This die becomes a d8 at level 11, and a d10 at level 17.

At 18th level, the range of this effect increases to 30 feet.

Lost without the Sauce[edit]

From 15th level, You may make an attack when a creature fails to hit you. Additionally, you may roll your Soup for the Soul die and reduce incoming damage by that much when an enemy does strike you.

Saucy Soup[edit]

At 20th level, you manifest a sip of the grand universes' soup. As a bonus action, you gain the following benefits for 1 minute:

  • You gain truesight in a 100ft radius
  • You have advantage on all skill checks and spell attacks.
  • When you use a Smite Spell the saving throw for the spell is skipped and they automatically recieve the effects of the spell.

Once you use this bonus action, you can't use it again until you finish a long rest.
