Oath of Improvement[edit]

The Oath of Improvement are sworn to the ideal that they are not at their peak, and they'll never hit that peak, but they'll always improve towards it. Paladins who take this oath are determined to make themselves and the people around them as best as they can be, constantly improving each time they wake up in the morning.
Tenets of Improvement[edit]
The tenets of the Oath of Improvement describe the goals of these paladins every single day.
Self Improvement. Never stop trying to be better than you were yesterday.
Improve Others. Always try to lift others up and be better than they were.
Perseverance. You'll often feel that you've reached the ceiling of what you can do with your life. Make sure to shatter that ceiling.
Oath Spells[edit]
You gain oath spells at the paladin levels listed.

Channel Divinity[edit]
When you take this oath at 3rd level, you gain the following two Channel Divinity options.
Empower self. You can use your Channel Divinity to channel your determination into yourself. When you make an ability check or attack roll, add your wisdom or charisma modifier to the roll on top of the already used modifiers.
Empower Others. You can use your Channel divinity to give up to 4 allies within 30 feet temporary hit points equal to your level.
Aura of Determination[edit]
Starting at 7th level, you and friendly creatures gain advantage. They can make this roll when outside of the aura, so long as they started their turn in the aura.
At 18th level, the range of this aura increases to 30 feet.
'Til Your Last Breath[edit]
Starting at 15th level, when you start your turn at less than 1/4th of your maximum HP, a magical aura doubles the size of your weapon with a glowing energy. weapons you use double their damage dice, and are counted as magical if they aren't already. If you are 10 HP or less, this is tripled instead of doubled.
One To Strive For[edit]
At 20th level, you can temporarily become your ideal self. As an action, you gain the following benefits for 1 minute:
- Your appearance changes to the ideal version of yourself, wearing any accessories or items that you think you would have, though they are only cosmetic.
- At the beginning of each of your turns, you gain 1 point in all ability scores until your form ends. These are not limited to 20 like normal.
- If you are knocked unconscious during this form, you can decide to instead take a level of exhaustion when the form ends.
- You and all friendly creatures within 100 feet of you have their speed doubled.
