Oakleaf (5e Subclass)
From D&D Wiki
Oakleaf[edit]
Ranger Subclass
Lurking in the shadows, quietly avoiding detection, by carefully moving without making any sound, Oakleaf rangers can take down their quarry with sudden and silent violence. These rangers specialize in stealth and deceptive tactics to outdo their enemies, attacking from advantageous or concealed positions, and using a deadly aim, they can fatally wound their enemies with a single strike.
- Conclave Spells
You gain conclave spells at the ranger levels listed:
Ranger Level | Spells |
---|---|
3rd | expeditious retreat |
5th | pass without trace |
9th | nondetection |
13th | greater invisibility |
17th | mislead |
- Sneak Attack
Beginning at 1st level, you know how to strike subtly and exploit a foe's distraction. Once per turn, you can deal an extra 1d6 damage to one creature you hit with an attack if you have advantage on the attack roll. The attack must use a finesse or a ranged weapon.
You don't need advantage on the attack roll if another enemy of the target is within 5 feet of it, that enemy isn't incapacitated, and you don't have disadvantage on the attack roll.
The amount of the extra damage increases as you gain levels in this class, becoming 2d6 at 7th level, 3d6 at 11th level and 4d6 at 15th level.
- Co-ordination
Starting at 7th level, you and your allies within 30 feet of you have Advantage on Dexterity (Stealth) checks while your Primeval Awareness is active.
- Disengagement Expertise
Starting at 11th level, when you take the Disengage action, enemies have disadvantage on attack rolls against you until the end of your next turn. In addition, whenever you take the Disengage action, you can make a single attack with a weapon using a bonus action.
- Shadowmeld
Starting at 15th level, you can become invisible as a reaction to an enemy missing you with a weapon attack. This lasts until the start of your next turn.
