This spell requires no verbal, somatic or material components: it can be cast merely by concentrating on it. The caster goes into a trance for five rounds, communicating with the nearby area in a small degree. He discerns where, in the immediate location (1 mile/lv, max. 3) a safe place to sleep is, if any, detects any magical beings in the immediate 1 mile radius, and gets a general feeling of the state of the land.
