The Mundarian Shopkeeper resides in a Living Mundarian Shop. The Shopkeeper can live for hundreds of years, but will only live just a few weeks outside of the shop. Mundarian Shopkeepers are an interesting and rare race of humanoids. They look just like any other human but they will almost always appear elderly in nature. They typically feel that elderly people are most overlooked and wish to keep it that way. The shopkeeper can easily disguise his/herself. This is something they will do if they leave the shop temporarily or relocate the shop. They are extraordinarily quick runners and prefer a good slap over using weapons. No one knows for certain how they came to be, but there are rumors of that they were once created by powerful mages of the past that no longer exist. Some believe that there are more of them out there than we know. They are not illusions. The only way one can know that a person is a Mundarian shopkeeper is by seeing the Shop move. It is said that the shops are happy to live in one place for hundreds of years without moving. The Mundarian Shopkeeper can communicate with its Living Mundarian Shop through reading and writing in a ledger firmly fixed to the countertop. Should a Mundarian Shopkeeper be killed, Living Mundarian Shop may choose to befriend you, kill you, or find a resting place to never wake again bringing on the start of its decay process. |
