Mothkin[edit]

A creature of the night that brings with it the celestial beauty of the Moon.

Physical Description[edit]

Standing at a height of usually 4ft to 5ft they still manage to draw a lot of attention to them with their unusual colors and patterns. Most of them have a very soft and smooth fur covering most, if not all of their skin, this makes them great pillows and warmers at the same time. Mothkin are very similar to humans in general body appearance, they posses a humanoid head with a pair of fluffy antennas that they like to keep very clean, they can have multiple eyes but usually have only one pair with some exotic colors, they also have an extra pair of arms sprouting usually from below where their armpits would be. And of course the most notable feature of a Mothkin are their wings, they like to take a lot of care of them so it usually is the most beautiful part of them.

History[edit]

No one is quite sure just how they came to be, someone say they always existed in the feywild, some say they where a failed experiment of a mad scientist. But the truth is they have always been here, just hidden due to their usually shy nature, but as time passed they started to become less afraid and shy and more curious about the civilizations emerging all around them, they started to get drawn to the sound of the music and pretty lights of festivals and the cities and before anyone even knew it they were a part of society.

Society[edit]

Mothkin are pretty rare to find all things considered, a lot of them never really got over their shyness and refused to leave their cozy dark spots of the Feywild. Mothkin are extremely friendly to other races and themselves and are always eager to learn new things, this makes them quite naive and innocent unfortunately. They have an unusual high attraction to light, be it of the moon or any other source, they appreciate it genuinely and with all their heart, so much so that they may even forget something completely just to appreciate the simple light of a simple match. Despite all of that, no appreciation can be compared to the one they have for the moonlight, whenever they have a clear view of the moon they look at it with such genuine love that it can even make you start to appreciate it.
