Monkey-birds are vibrantly feathered primates typically found living in small communities on distant tropical islands. These creatures are said to flit from treetop to treetop, feeding on fruits and nuts, though they are also said to eat smaller animals they can catch with their talons. Known for their inquisitive and at times playful nature, they are popular among the wealthy as exotic pets, though many witches and wizards keep them as familiars, while others have been recruited into the various nefarious pirate crews of the high seas. |
