Death Burst. When the mephit dies, it explodes in a burst of glass shards. Each creature within 5 feet of it must make a DC 10 Dexterity saving throw, taking 4 (1d8) slashing damage on a failed save, or half as much damage on a successful one.

Innate Spellcasting (1/Day). The mephit can innately cast mirror image, requiring no material components. Its innate spellcasting ability is Charisma.

ACTIONS

Claws. Melee Weapon Attack: +3 to hit, reach 5 ft., one creature. Hit: 3 (1d4 + 1) slashing damage.

Shard Breath (Recharge 6). The mephit exhales a 15-foot cone of glass shards. Each creature in that area must succeed on a DC 10 Dexterity saving throw, taking 5 (2d4) slashing damage on a failed save, or half as much damage on a successful one.

Mirror mephits are small outsiders native to the Plane of Mirrors. They have jet-black eyes and a fully reflective body. Like other mephits, they have glassy claws and wings. A damaged mirror mephit may appear cracked and chipped, like a block of marble.
Compared to other mephits, mirror mephits are intrigued by certain objects. They enjoy the spectacles of reflection and often engage in repetitive acts. They have no interest in politics or following a moral code: instead, they act without caring for the future. Mirror mephits are incredibly fond of glittery, sparkling, and shiny items.
