"We obey, master," the Minyuns chanted, pulling out weapons, some of them using tools like hammers and frying pans. They leapt into action with furious haste, obliterating their victim in a shower of painful blows. "Oh god! I didn't mean to do that!" screamed the horrified master, "it's all my fault. I'm sorry, little Minyuns, me making you commit such a heinous crime like that. Oh, what have I done?" When the master wasn't looking, the Minyuns grinned in shared glee, thinking with satisfaction to themselves, "the master's enemy did not wish to command. It is only fitting that he died a horribly painful death."
Minyuns are short in appearance, with large, toothy mouths and big heads. They have no necks, and their torsos are part of their heads, making them look like blobs with arms and legs. Their faintly greenish, rough skin provides them with some protection from blows, and their sharp claws make them good at climbing trees. However, the overall effect of their appearance is still somehow cute and cuddly.
Minyuns are incredibly loyal servants. Their only wish is to serve and survive. Anyone who will ensure their survival is guaranteed help by these friendly companions. However, they hate all who do not want to employ them, and this is their major point of disagreement with other beings. Being fairly harmless-looking despite their pointy teeth and claws, few are aware just how much they are manipulated by the Minyuns towards the goal of complete annihilation of all who do not wish to command. Plenty of genocides have been committed by those who would otherwise not even consider such a thing, but have been tricked into it by the scheming Minyuns.
Combat[edit]
Minyuns are fairly simplistic fighters. They tend to prefer melee weapons, especially of the bludgeoning variety. When in groups, they like to swarm their opponents one at a time, coming from all directions. Those with classes more befitting other tactics still prefer getting close to their enemies, although spellcasters generally stand behind their allies.
- Cute(Ex)
Due to their exceptionally harmless appearance, anyone contemplating attacking a Minyun before combat has started must pass a will save with DC 15. If they have seen Minyuns kill before, the DC is 12, and if they have seen that Minyun kill before, the DC is 7. If they fail, they cannot do anything more aggressive to the Minyun than frown and be somewhat rude. They cannot make the check again for 1 hour.
- Hateful(Su)
If a Minyun does not like someone, the Minyun's master feels that hate as though it were their own, and even imagines a justification for it. The master must make a DC 10 will save (The DC increases by 1 for every additional hating Minyun they control beyond the first) for every hour they are near the hated enemy. If they pass the will save by 5 or more three hours in a row, the feeling of hatred goes away completely. If they fail the will save, they order the Minyuns to kill the target. 1d6 x 10 seconds after the target is dead, the master must make another will save. If they pass, the feeling of hatred leaves them and they realize what it was they have done. However, they do not realize that their hatred was caused by the Minyuns.
