Physical Description[edit]
Minor Angels are quite similar to humans at first glance, the only key distinct features being the pure white wings that make even freshly fallen snow or the feathers of a dove look impure in comparison, along with eyes that glow of radiant light. Some of these minor angels were created with multiple sets of wings with most having only one set, others have been seen with having two or three. Whilst corrupted members have frayed wings that work out of sheer spite and eyes that burn with the most intense hatred.
History[edit]
Angels have always been around since time in memoriam. While originally only watching from above and interfering only when the gods willed it, recently some of the more minor members have been reported in the realms helping mortals who are either down on there luck or in bad spots. Some have even resorted to declaring war against devils who have made deals with mortals thinking that they can free them from such accords.
===Society=== The society of angels are as strict as they come, with those at the top making all the important decisions and the lesser following them. There are outliers however and those that act against what they consider the Radiant Order are considered outcasts and are typically shunned. There are also those who have fully rejected the Order and have fallen being deemed lost and corrupted resulting in darker beings who represent chaos. All angels who go against the order are hunted down by hunter squads.
Minor angel Names[edit]
The names of angels are typically smooth and pleasing to hear due to the purity in their voice, this is not applied to the corrupted brothers and sisters since the light has been perverted inside them. These names sound aggressive and forced upon the listener as if the sound was unnatural and disturbing not to mention upsetting. Names do usually represent them however and reflect what they either are or once were.
pure Male: Valor, Courage, Lucifer, Inquisitor Corrupted Male: Reaper, Ravager, Stalker, Shadow Corrupted Female: Fury, Void, Frenzy, Harpy Pure Female: Mercy, Hope, Petal, Joy
Minor angel Traits[edit]
The lowest tiers of angels either on the material plane by choice or exile.
Ability Score Increase. Your Charisma score increases by 2.
Age. Angels are born and age at the same rate as humans but don't die from old age, however most only live 30 years past when they make their way to the material plane due to angelic hunters coming after them.
Alignment. The angels that seek to help and protect the mortals are typically lawful good whereas those who have been corrupted by their anger are typically lawful evil
Size. Minor angels vary widely in height and build, from 5 feet to well over 6 feet tall. Your size is Medium.
Speed. Your base walking speed is 30 feet. Also you have a fly speed of 30
Creature Type. Your creature type is celestial.
Celestial radiance. You have resistance to radiant and necrotic damage
darkvision. Thanks to your divine heritage, you have superior vision in dark and dim conditions. You can see in dim light within 60 feet of you as if it were bright light, and in darkness as if it were dim light. You can't discern color in darkness, only shades of gray.
Trusted friend. You have proficiency in the Persuasion skill.
Languages. You can speak, read, and write Common, celestial, and one other language of your choice.
Subrace. For every force in the universe, there is an equal and an opposite, for every good deed, and evil one. This case is apparent even in the high realms of the angels. For the Radiant order may seek peace, but it has created its own enemies by its founding. Corrupted angels and pure angels. These two are the inverse of each other, one fights to protect. The other fights to destroy the very fabric of order itself.
Corrupted minor angel[edit]
Ability Score Increase. Your Strength increases by 1
Visage of hate. With your mind and body consumed by hatred you can force a creature to look you in the eyes. The creature must make a wisdom save against your intimidation skill or be paralyzed by fear. The target suffers the paralyzed and terrified condition. You may use this feature once per long rest.
Pure minor angel[edit]
Ability Score Increase. Your Dexterity increases by 1
Visage of hope. You fill the 20ft area around you with your angelic radiance, and heal all allies within that area for 1d6 plus your charisma modifier. Once you use this ability you can not use it again until you finish a long rest.
