Firewave's Mine Monster[edit]
Gargantuan monstrosity, chaotic neutral Armor Class 26 (natural armor)
Saving Throws Str +19, Con +19, Int +15, Wis +11 Regeneration. Firewave's Mine Monster regains 20 hit points at the start of his turn if it has at least 1 hit point. ACTIONSMultiattack. The mine monster makes two claw attacks, a bite attack, and a tail attack. If it bites a target, it can't use any of it's attacks on the same target that turn. Bite. Melee Weapon Attack: +19 to hit, reach 15 ft., one target. Hit: 32 (4d10 + 10) piercing damage plus 14 (4d6) poison damage, and if the target is a Huge or smaller creature, it must succeed on a DC 27 Dexterity saving throw, with disadvantage if it is Medium or smaller, or be swallowed. While swallowed, a creature is blinded and restrained, has total cover against effects originating outside the monster, and it takes 63 (18d6) acid damage at the start of each of the monster's turns. If the monster takes 70 or more damage on a single turn from a creature inside it, it must succeed on a DC 29 Constitution saving throw at the end of that turn or regurgitate the creature, which falls prone in a space within 40 feet of the monster. If the monster dies, a swallowed creature is no longer restrained by it and can exit the corpse using 35 feet of movement, exiting prone, or unconscious if it has fewer than 15 hit points. Claw. Melee Weapon Attack: +19 to hit, reach 10 ft., one target. Hit: 24 (4d6 + 10) slashing damage and the target is grappled (escape DC 20) The monster can have only two creatures grappled at a time, or four creatures if flying. Tail. Melee Weapon Attack: +19 to hit, reach 25 ft., one target. Hit: 28 (4d8 + 10) bludgeoning damage and the target must succeed on a DC 27 Strength saving throw or be knocked prone.
LEGENDARY ACTIONSThe mine monster can take 3 legendary actions, choosing from the options below. Only one legendary action option can be used at a time and only at the end of another creature's turn. The mine monster regains spent legendary actions at the start of its turn. Move. The monster moves up to half of it's speed. Attack. The monster makes a claw attack. |
This is the monster that Firewave keeps as a guard for his treasure hoard. It is the last line of defense for the treasure, and adventurers who defeat Firewave will be so low on resources that they can't handle this dude... SO HA!!! |
