Metriacanthosaurus is among the more docile carnivorous dinosaurs, this is mostly due to its more scavenger oriented lifestyle. The Metriacanthosaurus spends most of its time coming the beaches of tropical islands looking for washed up carcasses and beached animals that provide easy pickings. However, this doesn't make Metriacanthosaurus a pushover at all, these theropods are very defensive of the carcasses they find and will defend them to the death. And Metriacanthosaurus has been seen before swimming up to a mile just to get to a carcass they smell. |
