A Megaton (1,000,000 ton) Hammer is a fierce weapon, which only the strongest of beings are able to wield. They are huge and fierce. A Megaton Hammer is generally as tall, with the shaft, as the being wielding it. Despite it's height, it is impossible to use it as a reach weapon as it is too unwieldy. The Hammer-end is, for a Medium-sized one, about 3 feet long, by 2 feet wide, by 2 feet high and is embedded with dozens of shards of steel that stick out and perforate the target's flesh. A character without at least 24 strength cannot wield a Megaton Hammer made for his size category. However, one can wield a Megaton Hammer sized for a smaller creature with 2 less strength for each size category of less that the hammer has (ex: A Human with 20 strength could wield a Megaton Hammer sized for a Tiny creature, with the appropriate penalties). A Megaton Hammer bypasses the first 20 points of an object's hardness.
Prerequisites: Exotic Weapon Proficiency (Megaton Hammer), Str 24.
