Maramorians are desert dwelling creatures with thick carapaces indistinguishable from sand-covered rock. They wield spears when hunting, which they typically do in small groups of up to five. They are secretive and reclusive, rarely venturing out from their sandy homes, and even more rarely do they allow outsiders to enter their territory. Outsiders that attempt to enter their territory are driven off in a hail of spears meant more to deter than to kill, though they are not averse to killing to protect their homes.
