Tiefling Subrace[edit]
The Lord of Ash and Bone, Malacath is the daedric prince of anguish, broken promises, and the ostracized. Tieflings of his descent often have greyish or green skin with bulky bodies covered in small spikes, vengeful and hateful natures, and great compassion and kinship with societal pariahs. Malacath’s power manifests in his children through supernatural wrath and vengeance.
Ability Score Increase. Your Strength score increases by 1.
Legacy of the Ashpit. Once you reach 3rd level, you can cast the wrathful smite spell once as a 2nd-Level spell. You must finish a long rest to cast this spell again with this trait. Intelligence, Wisdom, or Charisma is your spellcasting ability for it when you cast it with this trait (choose when you select this race).
Furious Vengeance. When you or an ally you can see within 60 feet are attacked or forced to make a saving throw by a creature, you can use your reaction to make that creature your vengeance target for up to 1 hour or until you use this trait again. For the duration, you can add 1d4 bonus to attack rolls and damage rolls made against your vengeance target. You can use this trait a number of times equal to your proficiency bonus, and regain all expended uses when you finish a long rest.
