Medium object

Structure, improvised defense

TL;DR: shoot from cover(+2 AC), costs 15 ft to climb, and climbing enemies get hit with advantage and an opportunity attack.

Barbarian Translation: Cover good. Climb bad. Smack climbers.

Description: Built from scavenged materials, this rough barricade is a quick solution for halting enemy movement and providing cover in a firefight. While crude, it can turn the tide of battle when properly used. Epically if you dont have the time or the resources to build proper defenses.

Construction: Building a 5*5-foot section of barricade requires 1 hour of work and a supply of junk materials (about 200 pound worth, or less if you have lots of sand/dirt)

Barricade Statistics:

Armor Class (AC): 16

Hit Points: 20

Damage Resistance: Piercing damage

Effects:

Cover: A creature positioned directly behind the barricade (within 5 feet of it) gains half cover (+2 bonus to AC) against ranged attacks from sources more than 5 feet away.

Firing from Cover: A creature adjacent to the barricade can make ranged attacks while maintaining cover against distant targets (those farther than 5 feet away).

Movement Over Barricade:

A creature must spend an additional 15 feet of movement to climb over the barricade.

While climbing over or standing atop the barricade, attack rolls made against the creature have advantage.

Creatures within 5 feet of the barricade can make opportunity attacks against creatures climbing over or standing atop it.
