Physical Description[edit]
The difference Magic Forsaken have compared to their normal defining races is their heightened con. The age of this subrace often reaches 130, due to their bodies accommodating to life without magic. When a member of this race hits their peak body due to age they seem to keep that base natural appearance and physical strength until they die of age naturally.
History[edit]
A subrace of humans who forsake magic completely, training and honing their bodies to actively resist it and rely without it throughout generations. It isn't unheard of for one of them to leave and go off into the rest of the world.
Society[edit]
In society the subrace of humans called Magic Forsaken don’t often stray from their home town, choosing to further hone their non-magical ways.
Magic Forsaken Names[edit]
Magic Forsaken take mainly human names. They don't have much of a naming structure.
Male: Vasile, Marx, Red, Boran, Ivan, Vlad, Damien
Female: Sophia, Trix, Myskina, Eve, Elizabeth, Lily
Magic Forsaken Traits[edit]
Former elven creatures made avian.
Ability Score Increase. Your Constitution score increases by 2, and your Dexterity score increases by 1.
Age. Due to the magic forsaken relying much more on their body and natural health they reach peak physical age at around 20, and stay in this condition until their natural death at around 140 years.
Alignment. Magically forsaken don't really lean much into a specific specific alignment, often choosing something more neutral..
Size. Your size and builds as humans. Your size is Medium.
Speed. Your base walking speed is 40 feet.
Magic Resistance. All magical related checks against you have disadvantage, including attacks. Any magical effects that are meant to last overtime or permanently will dissipate rather quickly and must roll a check against your constitution to apply in the first place. (Such as curses, contracts, damage over time effects, or lasting debuffs.)
Magically forsaken. Your presence is undetectable and invisible through magical means (foresight, locating spells, being seen through magical viewing items/spells) and actively invisible to many magical constructs/spells that need to work through a target (Such as homing spells, barriers, attacking magical constructs without sight, and magical traps)
Magically crippled. You are incapable of spellcasting completely unless using a magical item where the spell is casted from the item itself. All buffs that are gained through magical spells must make a check against you to see if applicable. The user is still able to use magical items with buffing qualities and potions that have instant non lasting effects.
Languages. You can speak, read, and write Common and one other of your choice.
