MSRD Talk:Starship Movement and Combat
From D&D Wiki
Something is wrong here[edit]
Starship size is according to it's length. In the starship size table, it puts colossal at 64 feet or more. Yet, it says, An ultralight starship can be up to 250 feet long. in the section above it. I think signals were crossed in this section. Or else there would only be one size category for ships. Please fix.Zaniel 09:52, 30 August 2011 (MDT)
- It's the same as the SRD, so we can't change it, but I think it's right anyway. Ultralights are simply the only type of ship that can be huge, gargantuan, or colossal, and every other type of ship can only be colossal. Since there's no size category bigger than colossal, this makes sense if you think about it: starships are friggin' HUGE. JazzMan 10:26, 30 August 2011 (MDT)
- Oh I see. I thought it was a typo. Figured someone missed a 0 or something. I didn't think of it like that. After reading the description, just seemed like there would be more variety in size options. Guess there can't be a medium-size starship. I was kinda hoping it was relative and I was just reading it wrong. Thanks for clearing that up for me. Zaniel 14:39, 30 August 2011 (MDT)
