Tiefling Subrace[edit]
Lolth, god of the drow and queen of spiders, is a coldly cruel ruler of those she views as her children, and delights in keeping them in constant violent betrayal. Tieflings tied to Lolth typically have physical traits connected to arachnids such as multiple beady eyes or mandibles near their mouth, or may have spiderweb patterning on their skin. They typically carry a combination of the venomous magic of spiders and the innate magic that drow can wield.
Ability Score Increase. Your Dexterity score increases by 1.
Abyssal Resistance. You gain resistance to poison damage. (This trait replaces Hellish Resistance.)
Light Blindness. You have disadvantage on Wisdom (Perception) checks that rely on sight when trying to perceive something in an area of bright light.
Legacy of the Demonweb Pits. You know either the dancing lights or poison spray cantrip. Once you reach 3rd level, you can cast the faerie fire spell once. Once you reach 5th level, you can cast either the darkness, spider climb, or web once. You must finish a long rest to cast one of these spells again with this trait. Intelligence, Wisdom, or Charisma is your spellcasting ability for these spells when you cast them with this trait (choose when you select this race).
Superior Darkvision. Your darkvision has a range of 120 feet, instead of 60 feet.
