Lightning Genasi (5e Subrace)

Design Note: This race uses the Elemental Evil, Players Companion's Genasi as the base race and then builds from there. Additionally, there is no Elemental Plane of Lightning and thus originates from the elemental plane of air or the elemental choas.

Genasi Subrace

Lightning genasi differ from typical humans with their blueish skin that ranges from close to white to a midnight blue, entirely hairless they have similarly colored crystalline growths that protrude from their head but can also grow from their back, shoulders, elbows and knees. Beyond that, the faint smell of ozone eludes from them, and the stronger the scent the greater their current emotion, the hairs of other creatures standing up from their heightened electromagnetic field.

Ability Score Increase. Your Dexterity score increases by 1.
Conductive Body. You have resistance to lightning damage and once per round when you take lightning damage you next melee weapon attack you make with a metal weapon also deals an extra 1d4 lightning damage.
Lightning Recovery. You have advantage on saving throws against being paralyzed or stunned.
Static Shock. You know the shocking grasp cantrip and Constitution is your spellcasting ability for it.
