The lava snail is a very durable creature, built for living near thermal vents deep beneath the surface of the ocean. Their shells are made of iron, making it quite difficult for normal weapons to break through or pierce their thick armor. Lava snails have over time migrated and adapted to mountainous environments, living in active volcanoes and in the deep chasms beneath. They are quite docile more often than not, but if provoked, lava snails are a very dangerous force to be reckoned with. |
