A mug of ale

Unaligned
Domains: Alcohol, Tavern

Lapuard is the god of the drink, he watches over taverns and is a peaceful god. He rather tell a joke and have a mug of mead than wage combat, you can often see tavern owners display a small alter to Lapuard, usually surrounded by candles and wine and mead. Soldiers, citizens, and royalty offer up alcohol to Lapuard before drinking in hopes he may bless them so they may forget their regrets for a moment and have a good time

  • Thou shall drink and be merry
  • Thou shall pour an offering of alcohol to me before you partake in drinking
  • Thou shall not have any regrets in the morning after, or during hangover

Lapuard is also the god of brewing, brewers send a pray and an offering up to Lapuard so they may make a better batch of brew. And although Lapuard formally doesn't have any temples, some say that there are many crudely made cellar temples holding services for alcoholics and drunks

Prayers and Rites[edit]

The only prayer used by the followers of Lapuard is a simple saying of "Oats and Barley, Grapes and vines, drink and brew are very fine", Then finally there are two rites preformed for Lapuard, one is the simple offering of alcohol to Lapuard before consuming alcohol, and second is a last rite where a drop of golden honey mead is placed on the tongue of the deceased so they may have a sweet taste for the rest of eternity

Heralds and Allies[edit]

Lapuard uses drunken people to herald his commands, so next time you think it's just nonsense, pay attention. Lapuard is ally to all, as he just concerned with a good time
