The land of temples is a land of mystery and magic, awe striking beauty and ancient powers. It is the primary land in which the blade dancer campaign is played.


Description of the land[edit]

The land of temples is a swath of land with the sea to the west and vast impassable mountains to the east, between these it has a mountain range called the mountain straight at the base of which is a large desert called Menace Dur to the north lies more mountains in which dwarves are reputed to have made their city and to the south is a great forrest where the elves and other sylvians dwell. Far out in the ocean to the west is a vast island called dragon Isle.

History[edit]

0~ 13 the Obalon creates the world and casts the Siodr from him who escapes into the land.

13 ~ 4000 The first two Seni races created, one born from fire the other ice fought each other to extinction – the Obalon creates a new imortal race from earth called the Ska.

4037 ~ Five brothers of the Ska traveling towards what is to be the land of temples argue that each of their offspring will hold this fertile land. The Obalon takes the up on their bet giving each the power they think they’ll need to win. Thus are, elves, dwarves, Mer, orcs, and men formed.

5237 ~ Obalon invites the mighty spirits of his home to come to his world and try for the power of godhead - these are the Voltar. Then trying to impress his kin the Obalon goes on a creating spree exhausting himself but creating the giants, and other Seni. The first Voltar starts the Niliod Empire, but it is destroyed soon thereafter by orcs.

6432 ~ A group of men who had exited the land of temples on account of their unusual religious practices by the Niliod empire is driven back on account of a Ska empire – their goddess Menace drains part of the land of temples to create a glacier to keep them at bay, they become desert dwellers. A time of peace follows.

7777 ~ A hoard of lizard folk who can control males lead by the Yuan ti attack from the south, cleverly controlling the males, conquest looks eminent. A quarter breed named Aeron gains allegiance from all five of the brother’s races. And with a female guard and a magic form that resists lizard folk’s powers, he drives them off and unites the land of temples under his rule. Upon his death the land was cast into Chaos, and thus the land of Temples stands to this day.
