Fighter Subclass
Warriors who follow the path of the lancer of ruin are harbingers of destruction, living weapons whose power can devastate entire armies. Their mastery of the spear is unparalleled, channeling a primordial force that allows them to pierce enemy lines like an unstoppable storm. Their power comes from a mystical connection to the very concept of war, becoming the embodiment of battle in its purest form.
- Spear Mastery
At level 3, your proficiency with polearms reaches a divine level. You gain the following abilities:
Your damage with spears and polearms increases by an additional die of the same type.
You can use a reaction to make a spear attack against any enemy that enters your reach.
You ignore resistance to piercing damage.
- Steel Storm
At level 7, you become a whirlwind of death with your spear:
When you hit an enemy with an opportunity attack, you can make an additional attack against another enemy within your reach.
You can spin your area equal to the range of your spear, forcing all creatures within range to make a Dexterity saving throw (DC 8 + your Strength modifier + your proficiency bonus) or take damage equal to a spear attack.
Your spear attacks ignore half and three-quarters cover.
- Unstoppable Charge
At level 10, your speed and charging power become lethal:
You can use your action to charge in a straight line up to 60 feet and make a spear attack against every enemy in your path.
If a creature is hit by this attack, it must make a Strength saving throw or be pushed 15 feet and knocked prone.
While moving, opportunity attacks against you have disadvantage.
- Divine Spear
At level 15, your connection to war allows you to throw your spear with devastating power:
You can throw your spear as a projectile of pure destructive energy in a 60-foot-long, 10-foot-wide line. All creatures in the area must make a Dexterity saving throw (DC 8 + your Strength modifier + your proficiency bonus) or take 8d10 magical piercing damage.
If you use this ability, you can summon your spear back to your hand as a bonus action.
This attack ignores resistances and immunities to piercing damage.
You can pierce the wind with your spear and get a ranged attack equal to your Dexterity or Strength mod.
- Avatar of War
At level 18, you become the embodiment of battle, maximizing your destructive power:
When entering combat, you can activate your Apocalyptic Presence as a bonus action for 1 minute.
While active, your spear attacks deal additional damage equal to your Strength modifier on each hit.
You have advantage on all attack rolls and saving throws against effects that attempt to restrict your movement.
Your attacks ignore resistances and immunities to physical damage, including those of ethereal creatures.
Once per combat, you can make a spear attack that hits all enemies within a 20-foot radius around you, dealing 10d12 piercing damage.
